hello guuuyssss, its me again, long time no see. so, today i'm going to make news about pandemic effects to the coffee shop. i have a friend who has a coffee shop in my town and also my brother in law in makassar, so i asked them to found out from 2 sides. their coffe shop name is Just4fun from balikpapan and Kopita from makassar
the first is so we know, if we want it or not, we're going to face the covid-19 pandemic. the question is what are the things that you prepared to face it, ". In the beginning, it didn't actually exist, but no one knew that there would be a pandemic until there was a pandemic, for the preparations we followed the existing health protocols " said Didit Cawidu the owner of Just4fun. and this is from Tio Andy the owner of Kopita " In dealing with Covid 19, Kopita 'made many strategic changes which were quite fundamental starting from business models, marketing strategies, up to a tactical approach in each field also adapting to existing health protocols with the main objective being fixed move the wheels of business while maintaining the health of stake holders & customers."
and the second question is how do you get your coffee shop to survive this pandemic, " In the beginning, we closed, because there was a take away policy, right, for 2 weeks, but if you look at the results, the results are not comparable, because people prefer to dine in, that's why it closed 2 months, so we do have the intention of renovating, then we Thinking again, finally we closed J4 for 2 months while being renovated and could be a solution so that it remains busy and can last. " said the owner of Just4fun. and this is what the owner of Kopita said " In order to survive during a pandemic, of course we need to understand the changes that are taking place in the market and make innovations be creative in internal and external aspects in accordance with current conditions while maintaining efficiency in terms of finance and effectiveness in processes operational, production, and also marketing."
the third question is. so, does the pandemic effect really affect the financial circulation?."The Covid 19 pandemic has quite an effect on Kopita. From what previously we have been planning and focused on expansion, so it must be delayed and shift focus on how we survive. In distributing business values to customers, it is also hampered by all limitations which exists." Kopita owner said. and this is what the owner of Just4fun said "at the beginning it really affected sales, fortunately We still able to manage good finances, and thank God it can survive until now."
and the last question is. so, what did you do so that the sales of this coffee shop can continue as normal. "To keep our sales fully focused on digital sales channels with various strategies such as stimulating loyal customers to increase the average transaction value by providing products with high value & price. Besides that, we also carry out exploration new sales channel and following the promos on that channel with the aim of attracting more potential customers to try Kopita '. We also open new market segments by targeting companies and events that require large amounts of supply." Kopita owner said
and this is what the owner of Just4fun said "Strengthening the marketing side of sales, as well as a lot of branding on social media, and also since the renovation, thank God it has become crowded"
